I’m thrilled to be your math teacher this year and know we are going to have an exciting, interesting, and fulfilling year together. This is our classroom, which means we are a team. We must work together in order to achieve our goals. My goals this year are to teach you the 6^th Grade Math Curriculum, to provide a safe, nurturing, and interesting environment, and to get you to love Math as much as I do. Your goals this year should be to succeed in math, to get along with your peers, and to come to class with a positive attitude prepared to learn. This class will increase your mathematical knowledge and understanding with a focus on problem solving, real world applications, and cooperative learning.
